Hello there. I’m Erin McGovney, and this is my blog.

I am a seeker of beauty and joy, whimsy and wit. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been feverishly seeking out and soaking up all kinds of inspiration: pretty pictures, poignant quotes and talks, stories of other entrepreneurs, and art and color of every variety.

I write and take pictures of things that speak to me. Mostly that means food, home, design and all things Portland. Sometimes I post about fashion and politics too. I love mid-century modern and contemporary design, clean lines, and the color white.

I spend most of my days helping awesome people navigate the crazy world of buying and selling homes in Portland, Oregon. I also dispense decorating advice, mostly when asked.  You can learn more about hiring me by clicking here. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hanging at the local farmers market, the hardware store, or in my well-loved (and in need of an overhaul) kitchen. I relish every opportunity to bake, jam, pickle, infuse, and otherwise have fun with food. I live in North Portland with my husband, Kevin, our puglet, Lucy, and our four chickens.

If you are a kindred spirit, I’d love to connect. You can find me elsewhere on the web here, here, and here.
